GROUP II
REAR AXLE
SECTION Description — A semi-floating axle carried in a banjo type housing of
100 pressed steel, on the ends of which the rear spring saddles are pressed and
riveted in position.
The bevel pinion housing which also carries the differential gear is attached
to the axle casing by eight set screws and two studs which give the location.
