Citelis chassis and PKD
Long life runs in the family
A new bus in the Irisbus Iveco range, Citelis is the
worthy successor to Agora and CityClass, each of which
were built in their thousands over the years. Citelis is
also available in chassis form and as a low-floor PKD bus,
in standard and articulated versions. And a new double
decker “open top” version is also now available in
12 metre length. With full cataphoretic immersion
treatment, Citelis is the ideal base upon which to build
a durable urban bus.
Optimal accessibility
The low floor on Citelis allows stepless access on all
doors, with a sill height of 320 mm on the front door
and 330 mm on the other doors. This configuration
makes it possible to fit wide access platforms for
wheelchair users (preparation for an electric or manual
access ramp is available as an option). The numerous
configurations available allow the Citelis chassis to satisfy
the operators’ needs in terms of passenger capacity and
number of doors. Suitable for widths of 2.50 m and
2.55 metres, Citelis is available in a standard 12 m
version with 2 or 3 doors, with a transverse engine (S)
or with a longitudinal inclined engine (Line) which offers
an additional row of seats at the rear. Citelis is also
available in a 12.80 m chassis version with an extended
wheelbase. On the Euro 4 articulated 18 m chassis
with 3 or 4 doors, the low floor throughout improves
accessibility along the whole length of the vehicle.
