In relation to the SCR system, Tector and Cursor engines are 1
fitted with an additional AdBlue tank of a few dozen litres’
capacity, which is mounted on the Irisbus Iveco chassis. This 2
tank provides a significant autonomy between AdBlue fill-ups
of some 2,500 to 3,000 km in urban use, and 5,000 to 7,000 3
km in suburban and tourism use. As SCR technology results
in lower diesel consumption, it offers a significant economic 4
advantage even when the AdBlue usage is factored in.

Irisbus Iveco continues to manufacture, and provide an
after-sales service for, its current engine ranges in those
countries not governed by the requirements of Euro 4
legislation.
