Ergonomic qualities
The new dashboard on this chassis is highly ergonomic, as all the
controls and switches are grouped together close to the driver’s
position. The central console is closer to the driver, the instrument
panel is treated with an anti-reflective material, and all the electronic
indicators and gauges are located within the driver’s field of vision.
The steering wheel is adjustable for height and rake, and the air
suspended driver’s seat has a range of possible adjustments for
extra comfort.

The electrical systems on EuroMidi have a multiplexed architecture
like on Eurocargo. The control boxes, switches, interfaces and
instrument panel are all connected by CAN buses. The different
on-board circuits are grouped by function, and this modular
architecture gives greater flexibility for bodying the vehicle. It also
improves reliability by making fault diagnosis much easier.

Great strength
Built on a chassis cowl with full protection against corrosion by
cataphoretic treatment, synonymous with long operating life,
EuroMidi holds its own in every trial. Moreover, with safety first and
foremost, it is fitted with the very latest in braking technology, with
disc brakes all round and ABS antilock braking.
