A performing engine 1
EuroRider chassis benefit from the powerful Cursor engine, which 2
has been tried and tested in both buses, coaches and trucks. This
engine, with either 8 or 10 litres of displacement, is available in a
wide range of power ratings from 330 to 450 hp in the Euro 4
version.
The adoption of Euro 4 legislation has allowed the Cursor 8 to
offer more torque (1500 Nm), while the Cursor 10 450 hp engine
generates more power and torque (2100 Nm). Euro 5 and EEV
standard emission levels are also available in option.
There are also Euro 3 versions, in chassis form with a Tector 6
(264 hp) engine, and as bogies with a Cursor 8 (310 hp and
350 hp) engine.
A natural gas powered engine is also available in the Cursor 8 litre
for urban use (hight floor CNG bus).
And last but not least, thanks to the wide range of rear axles
and power ratings available, the EuroRider range can provide the
perfect vehicle for any operating mode: urban, suburban, tourism,
mountain, plain, road or motorway.

An ergonomic driver’s compartment
To simplify the tasks of the driver, his position includes:
- A new, shortened, gear lever, making gear change easier;
- A new steering wheel incorporating the controls for the radio

and the instrument panel display unit;
- A suspended pedal assembly;
- A steering column adjustable for height and rake.
The 12 speed AS-Tronic gearbox, available as an option with
Cursor engine, also makes the driver’s job easier while reducing
fuel consumption.
