PROPELLER SHAFT Open tubular with flexible fabric universal joints at each end,
requiring no lubrication. The propeller shaft end couplings are pressed into position
during the course of manufacture and cannot subsequently be dismantled. The diameter

SPRINGS Semi-elliptic of silico manganese steel, underslung at rear. Rear springs take

TIMING GEARS ( Engine ) Distribution by endless chain running on crankshaft, camshaft
and dynamo sprockets. Chain tension is adjustable externally by movement of the dynamo
drive housing.
