Amo Amass A-Muse - Lodge of the Nine Muses 115

When our physical clothing is worn out, all shadows disappear.
Beyond the Veil, there is no choice or free will. Only the real can exist in Omnipresent,
Omniscient and Omnipotent conditions. Behind the Veil, we may partly understand the
Surface of things to come but not the life within it. Perhaps some have, for a fraction of a
second, experienced a kind of ecstasy of an intense absolute, essence of selfless love, which
is beyond the physical, neither giving or receiving.
For instance there are moments, when surrounded by the sheer beauty of nature,
            this ecstasy may be triggered by the distant song of a bird or a scent born on the breeze;
sometimes the rapture, unlatched by a particularly lovely piece of music, may be the key
that unlocks this feeling of selfless, perfect happiness. It is impossible to describe and it
is not communicated through any of our physical senses. It is a wonderful feeling of
perfect peace, absolute rest, true contentment and being in touch with the surface of
the Sanctuary of the true and ever living GOD. At the same moment, all material things
become blurred and self is forgotten. We are taught something more of that ever living
GOD in Holy, Royal, Arch Masonry, if we decide to be exalted.
Surely then the Craft is a preparation for facing the Great Reality? Once a year, every
Lodge is exhorted to have one aim in view, namely — “to please each other and to unite
in that grand design of being happy and communicating happiness”. In this way we hope
that Joy and Exultation shall continue when time with us shall be no more.
I give thanks to Bro. S.T. Klein and his “Hidden Mystery No. VII” in AQC.25 pt.3 of
            1912, which triggered me off.
