       Your Parish Church, St Nicholas
We were pleased to resume services
for a few weeks in July before the
summer break in August. We were
able to worship each Sunday in
turn at one of the other churches in
the Benefice so there was always
somewhere to go to church for those
       who wanted to. Services resumed
       at St Nicholas in September
       following the usual monthly pattern,
displayed on our noticeboards in the
       churchyard and outside the shop.
Our services are still short, and
masks are required, but we can now
sing! In August we enjoyed a Musical
Soiree at Little Ickford Farm which
was wonderful, and ran the teas at
the Ickford Show, which was also
a great success and raised much
       needed funds for the church.
The Church Fête was held on
September 4 , with several new
                th
       innovations and a great afternoon
out for families. It was both a social CGI image of the Deanfild Park development in Ickford from the air.

The Harvest Festival came hot on
the heels of the Fête, enabling us
       to enjoy the flower arrangements
in church and to have a bring and DEVELOPMENT
       share lunch afterwards.
