Setup and Other Functions

SCAL SCALING
- ING
This menus enables the user to scale the readings of the PM3300 to
OFF suit the ratio of external voltage and current transducers. If required
ON inputs may be individually scaled to match calibrated transducers.

HELP HELP

This key will provide useful information regarding the detailed setup
features available with the MENU+PROG keys (see below), and
        waveform and harmonic display configuration.

LOCAL LOCAL

This allows the user to switch from remote control (IEEE or RS232) to
local control from the front panel.

PROG PROGRAMS

This is used to store front panel settings and menu setups. Up to 5
program settings may be stored and recalled using this key, including
        the power-up setting.

A useful feature is the program switch. When the switch is enabled, the
PROG key acts as a switch to toggle the PM3300 between two
        programmed setups:

for example two stored display modes (function data and bargraphs)
may be compared at the touch of a key.

CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS

This combination of keys provides the user with over 100 specific configuration
functions, providing extensive set up capability for custom requirements.

  Vpk RANGE KEYS
RANGE
These provide selection between auto and manual ranging. The
Apk PM3300 is fully autoranging for both voltage and current over the
RANGE whole input range. Independent channel ranging is selectable.

Manual ranging can be selected for recording transient events such
as motor start-up currents, or for use with data-log.

In each case the selected range is indicated on the 12 element
bargraph on the front panel. An overload on any range will be
        indicated by the PM3300 display.
