THE DISPLAY
is a 256 x 128 pixel graphic vacuum fluorescent display (VFD), with excellent wide-angle
viewing capability.
It provides three different styles of data presentation, harmonic barcharts and input
waveform display.
Examples of these are shown below.
Access is made to the give display modes through the screen menus: Simply press MENU
and select DISPLAY to make selection.
The HOLD key ‘freezes’ the display. This is very useful for comparing measurements on
all channels simultaneously by simply pressing the CHANNEL SELECT keys.
THE ON-BOARD PRINTER
is a high definition thermal printer, capable of providing 8 dots/mm resolution.
At the press of the DATA DUMP key, any of the five display modes can be printed, to provide
a hard copy record. Programmed selections of a wide range of measurements (including
Integrator and Datalog) can also be recorded.

This is the standard power-up display. The selected functions are displayed for all channels
including Summation (å) and Neutral (N) values.
The cursor ( ) can be moved by arrow keys to the left or right to select the function to be
changed. Pressing a function key will then change the data in the selected column.
Pressing the FUND key will cause all displayed functions to change to their fundamental
values.

This display mode provides a single function to be displayed in 15mm high figures. This is
a useful mode when the PM3300 is at a remote position from the user, or if it is fitted in an
instrument rack.
