The Bus Division Range of Irisbus

The Irisbus MidRider SLF is a middle
weight bus designed primarily for those
operations where route access can be a
problem for conventional full size vehicles.

The bodywork is again by Unvi but uniquely to
Irisbus, has been designed to an overall width
of 2400 mm. This makes it ideal for handling
the higher passenger numbers often found on
urban estates or the older city centres but
where road widths and on-street parking can
be restrictive.

Passengers will benefit from the improved route diagram availability and their travel quality will be
enhanced from the moment they board the MidiRider. The overall length of 10.9 metres can
accommodate a capacity, dependent on layout, of up to 36 seated plus 33 standees and 1
wheelchair. Comfort is assured by seating from MTB upholstered in luxurious plastic and featuring
arm rests for added comfort. More than adequate luggage stowage space is provided by the two
overhead stowage liners running the full length of the saloon. Movement within the saloon is also easy
with an aisle width of xxx mm.

The MidiRider will maintain its position in traffic flows thanks to the 270 horsepower available form the
6 litre Iveco tector engine.

The Irisbus Daily LoGo offers the traveller
the easiest access possible thanks to the drop
frame design. With an entry floor height
constant at only 250 mm, access and egress
will be easy for all passengers but particularly
the elderly or parents having to keep an eye
on young children or burdened with shopping.

Bodywork is by Unvi, the respected Spanish
manufacturer and the modern style combined
with total functionality is immediately obvious.

The body length of up to 8.5 metres will accept a seating capacity, dependent on layout, of up to 24
plus 6 standees. All passengers will benefit from high quality seating from xxxxxxxxx featuring
comfortable plastic upholstery together with the added safety of lap belts and a
saloon layout including well positioned hand rails. Vision is first class through
panoramic tinted windows which also bring with them the comfort and safety of
double glazing.

Journey times and route schedules can be maintained using the performance
available from a Sofim diesel engine offering 146 horsepower whilst total
passenger security is provided by the braking system that has discs all round
and ABS, ABD and EBD as standard.
