This is trimmed in anti-slip grey vinyl and meets the European directive
76/115 (M2) which requires a pull test of 4.5 tonnes per seat. This high floor
strength is the basis for a level of passenger security that is second to none in
this sector.

To maintain a high quality level of comfort throughout their journey,
whatever the length, a saloon heater is provided together with two roof
mounted ventilators and two electric extractor vents mounted at the rear of
the saloon.

To ensure that aisles and the seating areas are kept clear, luggage racks are
provided on both sides of the saloon.

Every aspect of vehicle specification that is key to the successful School
Bus operation has been taken into account with the ‘Scolabus 25’. We have
given the driver the ultimate with a modern powerful efficient engine, automatic
gearbox and first rate brakes to make his life as drama free as possible.

The seats are made by leading suppliers of coach seats and each one
meets the very tough M2 safety standard. Every seat is fitted with a lap and
diagonal seat belt.

These are of the ‘All Age’ design to ensure that irrespective of the size of
the child, he or she can be transported in total safety. Moreover, each seat can
be individually numbered to aid child identification as well as guarding against
vandalism.

The ‘Scolabus 25’ chassis is built in our plant in Brescia, Italy whilst the
bodywork is built in France. Using the highest quality standards of manufacture
allows us to offer the ultimate in safe, comfortable transport for our
schoolchildren.
