6 An Account of the Lodge of Nine Muses
The original text was set in Bembo and a variety of type
sizes were used to differentiate between sources. A similar
practice has been adopted for this edition, but using colour
instead.
Within the paragraphs of the original text. Whole quotations
from early actual documents are printed using this colour.
Where the original text included whole quotations from the
minute book this edition distinguishes these by employing
this colour.
Numbered footnotes replace the original starring system. All
additions and/or amendments to the original text are shown
using this colour.
