236 An Account of the
VI LODGE PROPERTY
The books, papers, jewels, furniture and property, of whatsoever kind,
belonging to the Lodge, shall be considered as vested in the Master and
Wardens for the time being, in trust nevertheless for themselves and the other
members of the Lodge (Rule 143, Book of Constitutions) The principal
Books consist of the Minute Book, the Declaration Book, the Book of
Accounts and the Property Book. Changes in property will be recorded in
the Minute Book.
VI FEES
The Fees and Subscriptions shall be as follows:-
Initiation and Joining fee when the number of Regularly Attending
members is under Thirty .................................. £60.00
When the number is over Thirty or over ........... £120.00
Rejoining Fee (see By-Law XI) ........................ £30.00
In addition to these fees the candidate shall pay to the Lodge such registration
fees as are payable to Grand Lodge and, if applicable, to Metropolitan Grand
Lodge, together with any tax thereon, and the candidate shall be informed
of the total
VII ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
The annual subscription exclusive of dining fees due and payable in
advance in January, shall be of such amount, as the Lodge shall from time
to time decide by resolution after notice on the Summons. The Secretary’s
services shall be deemed equivalent to payment of subscriptions.
Where an emergency meeting is held specifically for the purpose of
conferring a degree at the request of a candidate or candidates the additional
cost incurred excluding dining costs, shall be born by the candidate or
candidates equally.
The cost of dinners shall be borne (in due proportion) by those Brethren
giving notice of intention to attend and the proportions attributable to
private guests shall be paid by the Members inviting them.
