            afterwards Rosenwinge was released, and returned to his post in Denmark,
            where he died in 1820.
               From notes courteously supplied by the present head of the family it seems
            that there were in 1795 three Counts Carl von Moltke. The one most likely to
            have been in London then was of a Danish branch, perhaps a friend or associate
            of Rosenwinge. He joined the Danish Navy, 1789.
               In 1798 joined diplomatic service, and served successively in Lisbon, Madrid,
            Stockholm and The Hague, and in London from 1820 to 1832, when he
            returned to Denmark, where he filled several public offices. b. 1773, d. 1858.
