The Irisbus Maxim 2 Luxury Passenger Coach

The Irisbus Maxim 2 is a versatile 29-seater luxury
coach equally at home with executive travel or airport
transfer work. With a complete new body style that is
sure to turn heads, the Maxim 2 is an impressive
looking coach with a long pedigree of reliability and
economy.

A high performance, 6 cylinder Iveco tector turbo-
charged engine with an intercooler is fitted to the
Maxim 2, producing 210hp-power output. The
standard gearbox is the Iveco 2865.6 - 6 speed
manual with the option of an Allison automatic box.

Full pneumatic suspension complete with anti roll
bars and telescopic hydraulic dampers.

The Irisbus Maxim 2 has a dual circuit air/hydraulic
braking system with front and rear discs brakes. ABS
is standard with the option of Telma retarder.

Air conditioning is standard with individual outlets for
each passenger as is a stereo radio/CD boasting an
eight speaker sound system.

All passenger seats are fitted with retractable lap belts
with the option of three-point lap and diagonal belts.
Generous rear and side luggage lockers give a total
volume of 3 cubic metres of storage space. By
reducing the seating to 24 seats it is possible to
increase the rear locker space considerably, which is
an especially useful option for airport work.

Optional extras include a toilet, video and monitor,
Webasto heating, refrigerator and a choice of seating.
