The Benefits of Irisbus Technology

The Driving force behind the Daily is the state of the art Iveco 2.8 diesel engine developing
125hp for the 40C13 and 50C13 models and 146hp for the 65C15 model. These Iveco engines
provide maximum torque at only 1,800 rpm, low noise levels, reduced fuel consumption and
emissions, coupled with minimum maintenance.

Both feature the Common Rail Unijet Injection System,
which uses a feed pump to supply the fuel under pressure.
This system ensures that the amount of fuel injected is
precisely adjusted to correspond to changeable driving
conditions. This advanced fuel delivery system provides
excellent fuel economy along with reduced exhaust emissions.

The 146hp variant version features variable geometry turbo-
charging, providing enhanced performance and superb
                                              flexibility.

Both engines fully comply with Euro 3 European Emission
                                              Legislation.

Driveline and braking systems have been developed in conjunction with world-class suppliers.
These ensure maximum durability and reliability which are key aspects of a profitable bus operation.

Having created the optimum chassis, the same level of attention is paid to the bodywork,
both inside and out. Some important aspects, such as the anti-corrosion treatment cannot be
seen at first sight but the benefits manifest themselves in a longer body life with lower
maintenance costs and higher residual values.

To complement the exterior design of the Irisbus Daily
range of passenger carrying vehicles, the interior design of
the vehicle has not been overlooked. It has been designed
with the same attention to detail as every other part of the
                                                Daily vehicle.

All primary control functions are contained in an
ergonomically designed dashboard. Featuring an anti-
reflective wraparound console to help prevent eyestrain,
the all-digital instrumentation also includes total and trip
                                                odometers and a clock.

The driver's seat is designed to give total comfort
and support and is fitted with easy to use lever
controls for height, reach and rake.

With power steering, ABS and all round disc
brakes fitted as standard, the Daily is as
easy and safe to drive as a car.
