Safety fully understood 1

The new Daily is packed with active and passive safety features. The braking system 3
now has ventilated disc brakes on the front, and larger diameter discs all round. This
results in shorter braking distances than those on a good number of tourism 45
vehicles. The new Daily also comes with essential
safety features such as ABS antilock brakes and
EBD electronic braking distribution as standard.
ASR antiskid, an electromagnetic speed limiter and
ESP electronic stabilisation protection are available
as options. In terms of passive safety, the new Daily
is also fitted with front airbags.
In addition, all our vehicles are approved to
European Directive 2001/85 and norm R66
(which is not compulsory on passenger transport
vehicles below 22 seats). This is an additional safety
feature for passengers.
1 -The new Daily dashboard: ergonomic
and harmonious.
2 - Gear lever in the instrument panel:
keeping control close to hand.
3-4 - Ever ything in its place.
Ergonomic requirements
Now entirely redesigned, the ergonomic interior of the new Daily cab is a dream
come true for drivers. Firstly, the driver's position is more accessible thanks to the
large wide-opening door. Then, there is a new more enveloping and comfortable
driver's seat, which comes with either traditional or pneumatic adjustment, and
with heating as an option. The dashboard is made of a new material, and has two
storage compartments, one of which is refrigerated.Together with the generous
door pockets, these compartments help to offer the driver the best working
conditions possible.
The gear lever is now integrated into the instrument panel to give additional
unencumbered space at the front.Among the other equipment available to make
life just that bit better behind the wheel are the new AGileĀ® gearbox which
dispenses with the need to declutch on every gear change, and the speed limiter.
