How I work
Brendah Malahleka left home at the age of 15 years,
With the determination to make a difference and
to begin a career in social welfare
spanning 30+ eventful years.
Lived and educated in Africa, Yorkshire, Scotland
and London.

From 1986, she held numerous senior
management posts spanning both public and
independent social work and social care sectors.

Expertise in the provision and management of
children’s services.
Has been at the forefront of introduction of
commissioning to children’s services.

Has undertaken successful numerous
service reconfiguration.

Keynote speaker at National and International conferences.

Media experience: BBC1 News, Radio 4, Radio Scotland and
The London Programme.

Provided evidence to Parliamentary Committees.
Brendah served for several years as a Council Member for the Central Council for The Training & Education of Social Workers.

Department of Health: Support Force for Children’s Residential Care 1993-1995.

Brendah has an impressive track record as an External Examiner & External Assessor (20+years), for all levels of professional training for staff in social care, including management training at MBA & MA levels. She is also an experienced trainer and NVQ Assessor.

Brendah has a deep passion for achieving goals. She has a reputation for getting things done.

For the last 6 years has been Managing Director of her own company specializing in coaching people achieve their potential.
