Founded in 1957 Vehixel are leading French bodybuilders producing Minibuses, Security Vehicles, Armoured Cars and School Buses throughout Europe.

They supply School Buses for both the French, and through Irisbus UK, the UK market. As an established supplier to Irisbus, Irisbus UK chose Vehixel to manufacturer School Buses for the UK market because of their vast experience in producing these vehicles for the French market.

Vehicle Specification

The Scolabus 24 is a purpose built 68 seat School Bus which is manufactured to the highest safety specifications. Featuring a high floor construction to keep passengers away from the collision zone the vehicle complies with European Safety Regulation R66 Rollover Protection. All seats are numbered to enable easy monitoring of passengers and are fitted with lap and diagonal “all age” seat belts. The vehicle can also be fitted with a side loading wheelchair lift and quick release seats to accommodate wheelchair passengers. Other options include CCTV and full Audio-Visual equipment
